About Monica

Monica’s consulting work is a natural outgrowth of the variety of skills developed over the 20+ years in various roles where she’s been honored to lead organizations, programs and associations whose missions align with her true passion – creating healthy, successful people and communities. As an accomplished senior executive, Monica has a unique blend of clinical and operational expertise in organizational analysis, strategic planning and implementation, consultation, training, and technical assistance.

Monica holds a Master’s degree in Counseling for Marriage and Family Therapy, and a Bachelors’ in Child/Adolescent Psychology from Saint Mary’s College of California. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, she has worked with youth, young adults, individuals, couples and families in the mental health field for over 20 years, serving in direct service, clinical, program development and executive management roles. Her clinical expertise focuses on trauma and complex stress through an integration of neuroscience, somatics, attachment, and experiential therapy strategies.

Monica’s approach to coaching and consultation is a co-active model rooted in humanistic theory. She is driven by the deep belief that human connection fuels the conditions required for motivation, change, innovation and creativity. People and systems possess their own answers and solutions, and through the co-active support and partnership, they are better able to bring these more clearly into awareness, address barriers objectively, and take action.

In addition to Gadda Hendrix Consulting, LLC, Monica is also the owner and CEO of Spark Equine, where she utilizes her skills as a Licensed Equine Facilitator™ & Certified Equine Gestaltist® to provide transformational, equine-partnered experiences to individuals, groups, couples, families & businesses.

Monica is a member of the Board of Directors for Mountain Valley Child & Familty Services, and serves as Chairperson of Grant Development for Hope Through Horses, Inc.  In 2022, after more than 2 decades working within medical, behavioral health and social service systems of care, Monica founded Finding Freedom and Fire Foundation in the hopes of overcoming systemic barriers and furthering individual and community health outcomes throughout the world.
