About Monica

Monica is a seasoned organizational strategist and fractional executive whose consulting portfolio reflects over 20 years of leading complex organizations, transforming programs, and guiding senior leadership teams through periods of growth, change, and innovation. Her work extends far beyond traditional clinical expertise—Monica specializes in business strategy, operational restructuring, executive advisory services, and organizational performance, helping mission-driven organizations strengthen sustainability, scale impact, and navigate evolving systems.

With a unique blend of clinical depth and executive operational acumen, Monica excels at diagnosing organizational needs, designing strategic solutions, and mobilizing teams to execute with clarity and purpose. She frequently serves as a fractional executive lead, providing strategic direction, operational oversight, and executive-level decision support for organizations in transition. Her consulting work spans multi-million-dollar system redesigns, organizational restructuring, cross-agency collaboratives, and statewide initiatives in partnership with public agencies, providers, and philanthropic funders. Monica is known for her ability to turn complex challenges into clear, actionable pathways—bringing a blend of analytical rigor, emotional intelligence, and systems thinking to every engagement.

Monica holds a Master’s degree in Counseling with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Bachelor’s degree in Child/Adolescent Psychology from Saint Mary’s College of California. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, she has worked in the mental health sector for more than two decades across direct service, program development, clinical leadership, and senior executive roles. Her clinical background is anchored in trauma and complex stress, integrating neuroscience, somatics, attachment theory, and experiential modalities—expertise that strengthens her ability to understand human behavior, navigate organizational dynamics, and support leaders through change.

In addition to Gadda Hendrix Consulting, LLC, Monica is also the owner and CEO of Spark Equine, where she utilizes her skills as a Licensed Equine Facilitator™ & Certified Equine Gestaltist® to provide transformational, equine-partnered experiences to individuals, groups, couples, families & businesses.

Monica is a member of the Board of Directors for Mountain Valley Child & Familty Services, and serves as Chairperson of Grant Development for Hope Through Horses, Inc.  In 2022, after more than 2 decades working within medical, behavioral health and social service systems of care, Monica founded Finding Freedom and Fire Foundation in the hopes of overcoming systemic barriers and furthering individual and community health outcomes throughout the world.

About Jamila

Jamila is originally from Milwaukee, WI and earned her degrees from Howard University in Washington, DC. Jamila has spent the past 20+ years in nonprofit health and human services, moving her way up from direct client care and case management roles into Regional Executive Director and Chief Program Officer positions. With a wealth of experience in the nonprofit sector, Jamila excels in collaborating with executive teams and Boards of Directors and offers comprehensive consultation on all aspects of nonprofit business and program operations.

In her role as Vice President of Nonprofit Business Consulting & Strategy with GHC, Jamila provides strategic guidance and support to nonprofit organizations within the fields of health and human services, behavioral health, education, criminal justice, and other systems of care. She supports organizations throughout California, and also offers deep understanding and regional expertise in the Bay Area region’s programs and systems (specifically San Mateo, San Francisco, Contra Costa, Alameda, Sonoma, Marin and Napa Counties). Jamila’s expertise includes planning and executing complex, multi-year strategic initiatives to ensure sustainable growth and impactful results for clients.

Outside of her work with GHC, Jamila enjoys volunteering with community organizations and currently Co-Chairs the Hayward Twin Oaks Montessori School Board.

About Michelle

Trained as a cultural anthropologist, Dr. Michelle Rosenthall brings more than two decades of experience conducting mixed-methods, participatory research and evaluation in the fields of child welfare, behavioral health, and public health. As GHC’s Director of Service Design, Research & Innovation and lead evaluator for California’s Children’s Crisis Continuum Pilot Program (CCCPP), Michelle leads the implementation evaluation and continuous quality improvement (CQI) processes that inform statewide system transformation.

With deep expertise in Culturally-Responsive, Equitable Evaluation (CREE), Michelle partners with communities, counties, and providers to co-design learning and evaluation processes that elevate the lived experiences of children and families as expert data authors. Her work bridges research and practice—translating complex data into actionable insights and tools that drive equity, collaboration, and lasting impact across California’s health and human services systems.
